Explore Wisconsin – Wisconsin Photographer

It has been awhile since I last posted. Things have been crazy busy, and unfortunately a close family member of mine was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. It has been a rough couple of weeks, but family and friends have been beyond supportive – I’m so thankful to have them to lean on during this time.

This year I had planned to take a week long trip to the state of Washington. This may sound crazy, but when I look at photos of the area I get this strong feeling that tells me I belong there. The plan was to spend a few days in Seattle, head to Olympic National Park and hike like mad, take a ferry ride from Port Angeles to Victoria to take in the beautiful architecture, and of course, enjoy some good food!

With everything going on I’ve decided to postpone this year’s trip in order to be close to family during this time. Instead of traveling out of state I’ve decided it’s time to head out and explore Wisconsin’s natural areas. It is truly beautiful around here, and I don’t think many of us take full advantage of Wisconsin’s beautiful landscape.

This summer I’ll be doing a few posts of different Wisconsin areas explored. Want an exploring buddy? Feel free to hit me up! Are you on Instagram? Let’s connect!

Below are some photos taken at Baxter’s Hollow in North Freedom, Wisconsin.
