When Michaela and I started planning for her senior session she was all for us taking a laid back approach and not having much of a plan except for one request, to incorporate her new pup, Ollie, into some of her portraits. Over the years Michaela has trained and ran Bichons through agility courses and I think this speaks a lot about her drive, dedication and disposition.

I loved how I had the freedom to showcase Michaela’s style because let’s face it, her look cannot be easily recreated no matter how hard we try. This lady has some gorgeous hair and what you see is au naturel. As we drove around Baraboo and Lodi I kept my eyes peeled for little pockets of light to play with her gorgeous, moody style.
