Las Vegas Road Trip

A few month ago I was able to explore some of Las Vegas and the surrounding areas with two of my favorite people. The light there was amazing and completely different than what I’m used to shooting with in the Midwest. I decided to experiment and play with the light and really push my images to where they’re almost overexposed thinking this would best compliment the type of lighting situations and the colors. I typically like my images to be more moody with darker tones, but I’m pretty happy with what I was able to achieve. I traveled light and decided to only bring my Olympus omd em10 mark ii with my 17mm.

Here is a bit from our trip. Lots of hiking, delicious food, road trips and the sweet sounds of ODESZA and Blackmill coming through the radio.

Quick side note, I’d love to photograph a Las Vegas desert wedding someday! (wink, wink)
