I’m happy anniversary sessions are becoming more of a focus. Couples celebrating their relationship and documenting life’s milestones make me incredibly happy. I’ve noticed there is a calmness that comes out in anniversary sessions. These sessions are on a completely different level from weddings and engagements and I believe it shows in the photographs.

I met Janae and Steve at a small cabin on Lake Wisconsin for their anniversary session. We played with the dramatic light peaking through the windows, got snugly in the bedroom, and then ventured onto the lake to take in some of the foggy afternoon day.
