Janelle and Ben live on the coast, but decided to come back to Wisconsin, where it all started.
They chose The Lageret, a space known for its warm, industrial charm, to host their celebration. Though they invited 200 guests, their focus was on creating something that still felt intimate, relaxed, and centered around connection.
Without an official bridal party, the day flowed with a beautiful sense of ease. Friends and family gathered close, and the couple made space for meaningful interactions rather than rigid timelines. We were able to keep things relaxed, allowing space for joyful moments, and quieter scenes full of tenderness.
The Lageret ended up being the perfect choice to hold their wedding celebration. An old tobacco warehouse from the 1800’s, this multi-level industrial venue tucked into the heart of Stoughton, Wisconsin, blends historic grit with modern elegance. Weathered brick walls, large rustic wooden beams, tall arched windows, and a spacious floor plan that feels both grounded and full of possibility.
This unique wedding venue can support your full wedding day so there’s no need to shuffle between multiple locations, and it’s the type of space where your vision can really take shape. The natural textures and moody lighting are fun to play with and perfect for couples who want their day to feel deeply personal, timeless, and visually striking.
